Brookline Savings Bank, Brookline MA

The restoration of the 1921 main branch of Brookline Bank focused on restoring the façade and copper-clad skylight. New double-glazed replacement windows, which closely match the proportions and sight lines of the original single-glazed steel frame windows were installed.

A new climate-controlled ATM kiosk was constructed to provide customers with a safe and pleasant place to conduct business. The kiosk is designed to reflect and recall the proportions of the existing façade.

The building was sold to NETA and became the first marijuana dispensary in Greater Boston.

Regulatory hurdles:

Brookline Planning Board.
