Erickson Brooksby Village, Club Houses, Danvers MA

Rick led the design of 3 distinct club house buildings for Erickson on a 91-acre campus in Peabody, MA while he was a partner at Steffian Bradley Architects. Each club house was between 25,000 sf-60,000 sf. Activity, service and retail spaces in each neighborhood club house foster a sense of community and offer convenience to residents by providing amenities like an aquatics center, health club, TV studio, medical center, country store, hair salon, bank, pharmacy, games room, crafts room, common living room, library, computer center, music room and a multi-denominational chapel.

Residents have a variety of dining choices. Venues range from formal, to casual and café bistro to event dining. Each neighborhood has at least one dining room open to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The casual dining room is often paired with a pub and game room where residents can gather for a happy hour, play a game of cards or billiards, or watch a game on the wide-screen television.

Brooksby Village received the Chairman's Award from the National Association of Home Builders, an Award of Excellence from National Commercial Builders Council and was featured in the Design for Aging Review published by the American Institute of Architects.
